The Pig Veterinary Society (PVS) of the United Kingdom had great pleasure in inviting our European colleagues to join us for the 5th European Symposium of Porcine Health Management 2013 that was held in Edinburgh.
This was a joint scientific meeting organised by PVS and in conjunction with both the European College and European Association of Porcine Health Management.
2013 was also the 50th year since PVS was founded, making it the oldest dedicated Pig Veterinary Society in the World. The Symposium incorporated our 50th anniversary Spring Meeting to mark this occasion, and we invited all persons dedicated to the Pig Industry to join us for the celebration.
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland in the United Kingdom, and consistently ranks as one of the most handsome cities to visit in Europe.
The host International Conference Centre is sited within the city itself, allowing the Symposium to be at the heart of this beautiful region and provide a very suitable backdrop to the scientific programme.
Please explore the site to review all the details of the Symposium and updates as they became available.
The organising committee of the ESPHM 2013, along with the members of the United Kingdom PVS, were very pleased to welcome everyone to Edinburgh in May 2013 for what was a hugely successful event.
